Many companies hire from campus. The average salary is 3-8L per Annam. The highest salary is 8L per annum. To get placed on campus, one should have at least 60%.
There are 3 hostels for boys and 3 hostels for girls. The hostel fee ranges from 34k - 42k based on room and hostel. You can also stay in PGs, which are 6-8 km. The cost per month ranges from 4-6k. Food is average. There is no additional fee for food. It includes the hostel fee. The infrastructure of the college is excellent. Classrooms, labs, and dining halls are well furnished. University has a central library. Wi-Fi is available if you have laptops.
There is no entrance exam. You can apply for admission directly into any stream accepting Ph.D. courses. You just have to fill out the online application form. Later you have to pay a registration fee of 15k.
College timings are 9:40-4:20. You have a lot of assignments, projects, seminars, etc. The method of teaching is quite well. Though teachers are post graduated, they will provide you with a good subject per the syllabus. They are very friendly and cooperative. My overall experience in college is good.
The course fee per sem is INR 50000. Scholarships are available based on your 12th percentile for graduation and post-graduation based on graduation percentage. Whoever has a percentage above 70 gets a scholarship. Loans are not needed because you will get scholarships; still, if you need a loan, then you can apply for it easily.
There is a ragging squad. You can complete it if you face it, but seriously there is no such thing in the University. Everyone is very friendly. University organizes festivals like Freshers' parties, hostel nights, etc. University conducts Hostel premiere league ( HPL) for cricket, football, badminton, basketball, etc, once a semester. Life in RIMT is very joyful.
