Placements and Internships
The college, especially the department you study, arranges for internships at the end of the 6th semester. Since I am in the ECE department, I would be telling about the companies that students of our department get placed in. Several renowned companies come to us for placement like Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro, TCS, etc. So almost every student of the batch gets placed. Till now, the maximum, average, and minimum packages offered are INR 10 LPA, INR 5 LPA, and INR 3 LPA, respectively.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
The infrastructure of our college is amazing. We have quite spacious classrooms and laboratories in our college. The laboratories are well equipped with machines and devices for doing practicals which are checked and updated periodically. There's also a nice canteen in our college that provides us with a variety of menus. The canteen and the foods available there are clean and hygienic as well.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
When I applied for admission to this college, I was told that I have to secure 60% in my class 12 examination and score 60% individually in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to get admission in this college. I also gave CEE AMPAI exam for the same.
Academics and Faculty
The academic structure is very well planned. The syllabus is according to the recent need of the industries and keeps on updating time to cope with the industries' demands. Our faculties are also very skilful and give their best to make the students understand the lectures.
Fees and Scholarships
Dr Sudhir Chandra Sur Degree Engineering College, [DSCSDEC] Kolkata Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 3.99 Lakh.
Several scholarships are also informed to the students through the mail compared with other private colleges in Kolkata.
Clubs and Associations
The college has many clubs for enhancing the extra curriculum skills of the students. Our ECE department also has few clubs, namely Green Pearl (Gardening and its awareness), Ink-Link (Literary) Club, Electrovision (Tech) Club, 4D (Art, Photography, Sports) Club, and Rhythms (Cultural) Club.
