The placements opportunities available for various departments are,

ECE- They have some good companies visiting, also sit with CS for most of the companies.

EIC- Sit with CS/ECE, with a couple of their core companies visiting.

Electrical placements are the same as EIC.

Mechanical- They have had their core companies visiting, also sit for some software organisations.

Poornima strives to maintain an environment that encourages scholarly inquiry and research, a spirit of creative independence and a deep commitment to academic excellence. The diverse programs and activities aimed at developing the quality of mind, ethical standard, social awareness, and global perspectives let students shape their own POORNIMA experience and grow.

The infrastructure of the college is well designed. It provides good exposure and facilities for students. Classrooms are spacious and airy, and the labs are well-equipped with all the required equipment library is big in all aspects. The staff decently maintains hostel rooms. The Wi-Fi enabled campus. The canteen food is pretty good when compared to other colleges.

I completed my graduation from PIET in 2017. Poornima does not have any entrance exam so far; their admission criteria are 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational subject as an optional subject with a minimum of 45% marks.

The faculty and lecturers at Poornima are well trained and experienced. A good proof of this is the fact that the Poornima faculty has received DTS grants of over 50 Lakhs for various projects and research.

During the 4-year degree course, I hardly remember a dull day in my life at Poornima. The faculty, the infrastructure was the best that I had wished for, and by the end of my course, I was placed too. It has been four years now since I completed my graduation.

Poornima was the perfect stepping stone for me for a life of opportunities and big dreams.

The best part of being a Poornimite is there are lots of clubs a student can join. The active clubs are Dance, Music, Art, Technical, and Communication.
