Placements and Internships
No, I did not do any internship. Some of the top companies that offer internships and placements to students in Gargi bare EY, Deloitte, KPMG, Wipro, Byjus, PWC. The highest package that was offered was 7.5 LPA. As far as the alumni are concerned, it provides a good network of companies.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- The college did not have any hostel accommodation.
- There are countless PGs available near the college area.
- The food used to be okay and the it was provided to the students on the subsidized rates.
- The campus was good. Lush-green small campus.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The eligibility criteria in the Gargi college in BA Hons History is cut-off based. The cut-off in 2014 was somewhere between 90-91 percent for the general category.
Academics and Faculty
- The classes used to happen continuously and there used to be a 1 hour ECA break.
- The quality and method of teaching appeared good to me.
- The overall experience was good. The faculty are very supportive and understanding.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee was Rs. 9000/- at Gargi College, Delhi University
- There were no scholarship options.
- In my batch there was no student who received scholarships.
- I am not really aware of the loan process.
Clubs and Associations
- There were several student societies and clubs on the campus.
- The main festival is the annual festival Reverie, sports day.
- The college life was amazing in Gargi.
