Placements and Internships

4.5

Our faculty used to give us an offer for internships as well. We got some offers from the 2nd year of our college to get into internships offered by different companies. There were certain scholarships for deserving candidates based on their cut off marks in 12 th board. Talking about the placements, several companies from different industries reached out to the college. Some of them are HCL (9 students of 3rd year got placed), IBM, TCS, T&Vs( 10 students got placed this year), Japanese companies (Human Resoursia), Accenture, Infosys Pega systems and Pega based companies, etc.

The highest salary package that we had in our college is 21 lakhs per annum, and the average salary package is five lakhs per annum.
Every year CIT makes 95 % of students get placed.
CIT has an excellent and friendly alumni network who still care about their juniors.

  • Our college time is between 8.00 AM and 3.00 PM, we have 8 periods each of 45 minutes, and between every two periods, we have 15 minutes of break and one 30 minutes of lunch break.

  • We have two internals, one model examination, and special coaching(university preparation classes) of 15 days for university exams for every semester.

  • Every morning, we will have a test that really helps us recap the previously taught stuffs.

  • Teachers put in so much more than 9 – 5 work hours. They have shown their commitment and love for every student and put in so much of their own time and effort. they are truly a godsend!”

Fees and Scholarships

5

The fee varies based on the department and cut off marks. As per the Chennai Institute of Technology, [CIT] Chennai fee structure, the fees for my Course is nearly 1 lakh per year, excluding training fee and other miscellaneous. You can obtain a full fee waiver if you got a scholarship and your cut off is 190 and above. And also students from f some foundations avail better scholarship too. About 50% of students get scholarships. In some cases, loans are required, and it is relatively easy to get sanctioned.

Clubs and Associations

5

We have nearly 12 clubs for students' enthusiasm, such as the Financial management club, music club, robotics club, photography club, green club, languages club, debate club, dance club, mobile apps club, digital marketing club, and so on.
As a family, CIT as a family celebrates all festivals both nationally and internationally like Pongal, Diwali, Christmas, Ramzan, and Japanese cultural festivals.
STUDENT LIFE:
At CIT, we believe that studying aside, coming to college is a great way to meet people, socialize, try out new pursuits, and experience the positive, motivating, informal side of students' lives.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Good marks and good cut off are more than enough to secure a seat in this highly proclaimed college. The higher your cutoff, the higher are the chances of you getting full scholarship! CIT has a special scholarship program where the scholarship are awarded for the students based on their cutoff and also for the underprivileged students based on certain criteria.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The Admission is based on the Anna University Counselling. I am Pursuing my 3rd Year Civil Engineering . This is  the College Where i dreamt to start my career with. I came to this college when i was studying 11th std for the science exhibition CITCOS. I felt good about this college during that time and as soon as my 12th results are out i got the mark that make me to reach the college. This college is the place for the students who love to discover in technologies and research. Students are given a platform to enhance their knowledge in diffrent field of their wishes without any blockades. There is also equal importance that is given to the academics and make students to understand what they study with industrial expousre.
