The International Olympiad of Mathematics (IOM), a test of competence and knowledge in the subject of Mathematics, is held annually at National and International levels, based on the syllabus prescribed by CBSE/ICSE and the State Boards. IOM recommends the competition for school students who are studying Mathematics as their subject in the school.

International Olympiad of Mathematics 2023 Highlights

Here is the glimpse of SilverZone International Olympiad of Mathematics 2023.

Structure of the IOM Olympiad

International Olympiad of Mathematics conducted by the SilverZone Foundation is conducted under 3 levels. The students who clear each level are eligible for the higher levels.

Level 1

All the class 1st to 12th students are eligible to take part in level 1.

Level 2

Top 1000 1st level Olympiad rank holders from each class will compete for top positions in a 2nd level examination. All class 1st rank holders with a minimum of 75% of marks with a minimum of 100 students from a particular school are also eligible for level 2.

Level 3

2nd level Olympiad rank holders of classes 6th to 12th will be eligible for level 3. Level 3 will be conducted in New Delhi, India.

International Olympiad of Mathematics Application Form

A detailed syllabus with a sample question paper will be provided along with this information booklet on the official website. Please refer to the books prescribed by SilverZone foundation for the preparation of IOM.

IOM recommends for the competition every student who is studying mathematics as their subject in the school.

• The application form is very important for the students as without registration the students can't give the examination.

• The application submission deadline is 31st August 2023 for Offline Mode and 15 days prior to the exam date for Online Mode. 

• Application form fee: The application form fee for regular entry is INR 125 rupees.

• School authority: The schools can help their students with IOM 2023 registration process which will include certain information that is to be filled carefully.

IOM Fee Structure and Study Material

For schools outside India, the participation fee for the Olympiad is USD 8 per student, out of which USD 2 shall be retained by the school against its expenses towards honorarium of the invigilator and other expenses like DD charges, postal expenses, photocopying, etc.

For Schools in India:

The participation fee for the IOM Olympiad is Rs.120 per student, out of which Rs.20 shall be retained by the school as its expenses towards compensation of the invigilator(s) and other expenses like DD charges, postal expenses, photocopying, etc.

International Olympiad of Mathematics Reference Books

SilverZone IOM Syllabus

The syllabus for IOM is based on the Indian curriculum but the question asked in the Olympiad exam will be different from the academic exam

SilverZone IOM Admit Card 2023

The hall ticket/admit card is distributed to the affiliated schools before 2 to 3 weeks of the examination for the registered candidates.

• Distribution: After the announcement on the official website of SilverZone, the admit card will be distributed. After getting the admit card students have to carry that to the examination hall.

• Information: Admit card contains the details like a student's name, father/mother name, session, date, and many more along with the rules and regulations mentioned by the board.

• Rules & Regulation: Admit card contains the rules and regulations which are mentioned on the backside of the admit card paper. The students have to follow all the rules and regulations during the exam.

SilverZone IOM Results 2023

SilverZone announced IOM 2022 level 2 results in the second week of March 2023. The time interval to published the SilverZone Foundation results is about 45-60 days, after successful conduction of examination. SilverZone IOM level 1 results for the academic year 2023-24 will be announced in January 2024.

The SilverZone Foundation awards the students who perform better and got top ranking in Olympiad Exam based on the different criteria. The SilverZone IOM awards can be in the form of certificates, medals, trophies, cash, and some exciting prizes to the winners.
