HPSOS Application Process 2024

Candidates who wish to appear for any examination conducted by the board should apply online on the official portal of the board. In case of incorrect submission of the application, which has not been verified, and any errors noticed in the data submitted online by the school, the matter for departmental action shall be placed before the Director of Education against the Head of the concerned school.

A candidate shall be declared eligible to appear in the matric examination given that the candidate is from an institution that is affiliated to the board. The following criteria need to be satisfied before appearing for the HPSOS 10th exam. 

• The candidate should have passed the 9th class examination of the affiliated institution and be present in the active rolls of class 10.
• Candidate has not passed an equivalent or higher examination of any other board or university; 
• The candidate has completed the prescribed course of study in the subjects that are required to pass the examination.
• The candidate has to hold a good mode of conduct.

HPSOS 12th Examination Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for the HPSOS 12th exam. The following are the criteria that a candidate should meet to appear for the open board class 12th examination.

• The candidate should have passed the matriculation examination of the board or HP State Open School (HPSOS) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.
• The candidate has not passed the equivalent or higher examination of any other board or university. 
• The candidate has completed the prescribed course of study in the subjects required to pass the examination.
• Candidates should bear good moral character.

• Step 3: A new window opens with SOS exam details and click on the "Apply Online" section at the top of the page.
• Step 4: Find the "SOS Class 10th Exam Application Form" link on the page and click on it.
• Step 5: The application form page will be displayed where you have to provide the necessary credentials and log in.
• Step 6: Provide all the required details on the online application and submit the same.
• Step 7: Download and take a printout of the HPSOS application form 2024 and then submit the hard copy to the respective school authorities.
