SSC MTS 2023 Eligibility Criteria
According to SSC MTS notification 2023, candidates must pass a certain age limit and educational qualification to appear for the examination. Following are the details of the SSC MTS Eligibility 2023 mentioned in the notification.
Age Limit Criteria in the MTS Notification 2023
Candidates are required to be aged 18 to 25 to apply for the MTS examination 2023. Following is the tabular data regarding the age of relaxation provided to a category.

Educational Qualification in the MTS Notification 2023
Candidates must have completed the 10th class from a recognised institute or state board in order to apply for the MTS examination.
SSC MTS 2023 Selection Process
Candidates for SSC MTS recruitment will have to go through three stages in order to complete the selection process. Aspirants need to complete the test to proceed further in the document verification round. Those who fail to pass in any stage will be disqualified.
The three stages to be cleared are as below-
- Stage 1: Paper 1
- Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (only for the post of Havaldar)
- Stage 3: Document verification round
SSC MTS Salary 2023
SSC MTS notification states that, the basic pay of Multi Tasking Staff and Havaldar is Rs.18,000 to Rs.22,000 per month. And the post comes with a pay band of Rs.5,200 to Rs.20,200 depending on the city the employee is allocated and the job post.
SSC MTS Application Fees 2023
According to the MTS Notification 2023, applicants have to pay a fee after filing the SSC MTS Application Form 2023. The payment can be made online through Net Banking, Credit or Debit Cards, UPI, etc.
Candidates categorised in SC/ST/PWBD and female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. The applicants belonging to other categories are required to pay Rs.100.
