SSC MTS Eligibility 2025 is set by the Staff Selection Commission for applicants who appear for the SSC MTS 2025. This exam is a national-level exam conducted by SSC. According to the latest updates, SSC MTS eligibility criteria 2025 changed through a corrigendum released by the commission, and the age limit for SSC MTS 2025 was revised for the Havaldar posts. The upper age limit for all the Havaldar posts now stands at 27 years previously which was 25.

SSC MTS PET/PST Exemptions

You must pass the Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test to be considered for the position of Havaldar (PST). Persons with Disabilities (PWD) you will be excluded from the Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST) based on their sub-category, according to a notice posted by the SSC. The following are some of the exemptions:

SSC MTS 2025 eligibility criteria based on nationality are given below. The ones who are aspiring to appear for this exam must satisfy the eligibility criterion of nationality.

  • You should be a citizen of India.
  • You must belong to Bhutan or Nepal.
  • You must be a Tibetan refugee who came to India for permanent settlement before January 1st, 1962.
  • You must be a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of  Kenya, Uganda,  the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

Note: The ones belonging to Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, Kenya, Uganda, Burma, etc must have the certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

SSC MTS Educational Qualification

SSC MTS 2025 eligibility criteria based on educational qualification is that you must have passed the 10th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized board to be eligible for SSC MTS 2025 exam.

SSC MTS 2025 Eligibility Important Points

All of you who are applying for SSC MTS 2025 must check the list of SSC MTS 2025 eligibility criteria important points which are given below:

  • You must note that you will get the benefit of reservation if you have a minimum of 40% disability in case of physically handicapped.
  • Your date of birth will be recorded as mentioned in the Secondary Examination/Matriculation Certificate or an equivalent certificate only will be accepted by the Commission for determining SSC MTS 2025 Eligibility for age and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted.
  • You who have not yet acquired but will acquire the educational qualification and produce documentary evidence from the Board in support thereof as of Aug 1, 2022, are also eligible for the SSC MTS 2025 exam.
  • Ex-servicemen are also eligible to participate in the SSC MTS examination 2025.
  • All of you need to understand the eligibility criteria thoroughly and then fill the application form. The ones who fail to satisfy the eligibility criteria set by the Commission will not be able to appear for the SSC MTS 2025 exam.
  • You must submit the required SC/ST/OBC certificate from the concerned office. PWD aspirants must present their certificates from the concerned doctor or authority for their disability.
