NTSE exam pattern 2024 should be known clearly before starting the preparation, as it is crucial to crack the exam. Details regarding the exam pattern are given in the following sections. National-level and state-level exams follow the same question paper pattern and will have 2 parts.

Important Details about NTSE 2024 Exam Pattern

NTSE Exam Pattern 2024 is set by authorities. The applicants can find information about the number of questions, NTSE 2024 syllabus, and mark distribution below.

Two stages will be for the NTSE exam 2024. NTSE 2024 will be held in the offline mode both levels i.e. State level examination (Stage 1) and National level examination (Stage 2). Both papers will have 200 questions each carrying 1 mark, there will be no negative marking for wrong answers. candidates must finish 200 questions in 4 hours in 2 sessions.

  • Mental Ability Test (MAT) - 50 MCQs to test the ability of the candidates to judge their power of reasoning, ability to think, evaluate and discriminate, spatial orientation, etc.
  • Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) - 100 MCQs from Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology), Mathematics, Social Studies (History, Geography, Political Science and Economics) and also includes Language Comprehensive Test of 50 MCQs
