  • The university hosted Inter-College Volley Ball Tournament for the first time. Many colleges like Apeejay, Echelon and so on participated in this tournament.
  • Our university performed excellently and eventually emerged as a winner. Trophies were awarded to the top two position holders.

Day Care Centre

  • From now on the faculty and staff working in YMCA University of Science and Technology, Faridabad need not worry about their children while they are at work. The University has set up a play school cum day-care center for children of teaching and non-teaching staff.
  • The center comprises of a play area, a dining room, a dormitory, a classroom with lobby, and a pantry. It would be a state of the art learning center providing best available facilities. The children will also get the first aid medical facilities at the center. The center has the capacity to accommodate 15 -20 children starting from the age of one year.
  • The University has constituted a Committee comprising the senior faculty and staff members for looking after the functioning of the center. “The centre is first of its kind in the state of Haryana. It will facilitate not only the female staff but the male staff members even if their spouses are not working for the university. The services will be available from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM spanning over the office hours.” said Mrs. Shimla, the Registrar of the University.

Smart Class Room

  • YMCAUST, Faridabad has initiated a program of establishing SMART classrooms in all the departments’ of the university.
  • These classrooms will be equipped with the state-of-the-art smart class equipment and software for making the teaching and learning both effective and fun.
  • In this regard the first classroom has been set up in the department of computer engineering. Other departments are in the process of setting up SMART classrooms for a better teaching and learning experience.

Hostels are average and fee is about INR 60-70k per annum. PGs are available around the college. Food in the mess is very good. Infrastructure is also good.

The overall infrastructure is good which is improving at an exponential rate. Labs are fully equipped. The computers in computer department are with the latest technology. All the computers are of Hp core i7. The hostel is also good and mess food is also fine.

  • I don't know much about hostels because I am a day scholar but there is 1 hostel for boys which is further divided into 4 parts.
  • The PGs are easily available because it is located in prime location and cost  INR 7,000 on average.
  • The food in college is good enough and it costs nearly INR 50 per meal.
  • The quality of classrooms and labs is fine in accordance with a government college.
  • The library is cool.
  • There is one dining hall for boys and one for girls.
  • WiFi facility is available for every registered user.

Three hostels for boys and four for girls. Hostel charges: -Rs. 6,800/- (for a new student)(For an old student the amount is Rs. 6000/-) Mess charges Monthly Mess Bill for Boys Hostels @ Rs. 98/- per day per student for the minimum of 25 days. • Monthly Mess Bill for Girls Hostels @ Rs. 72.00/- per day per student for the minimum of 25 days. Several pgs in a 500m range from YMCA Labs and library is good and will provide all books of course and campus is wifi equipped
