XISS Ranchi Placements 2023: Highest & Average Salary Package, Top Companies

XISS Ranchi placement drives have always recorded some of the best placement statistics in Jharkhand. According to the Xavier Institute of Social Service placement data for 2022-23, a total of 224 students got placed. The XISS Ranchi highest package was recorded as INR 20.50 LPA. Students of the PGDM in Human Resource Management program recorded the highest package. The institute is yet to release placement data like the percentage of students placed, median packages, etc.

XISS Ranchi top recruiters include companies like Ernst and Young GDS, Tata Asset Management, Deloitte India, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HCL Technologies, etc. The XISS Ranchi placement cell works in unison with the Department Placement Cells to organise internship and placement drives.

XISS Ranchi Placement Highlights 2023

During 2023 placements, the XISS Ranchi average package has improved tremendously and reached an all-time high of INR 9.40 LPA. Students were able to secure 10 PPOs, and around 14 students opted for a family business or higher studies during the 2023 placements. XISS Ranchi will release the final data once the placement drive for the 2021-23 batch is concluded.

PGDM in Human Resource Management program recorded the highest number of students placed, 62, during the 2023 XISS Jharkhand placements. Marketing Management (57 students) and Financial Management (53 students) occupied second and third positions.

The Xavier Institute of Social Service highest package in 2023, INR 20.50 LPA, was offered for PGDM in Human Resource Management program students. Human Resource Management specialisation is followed by Marketing Management (INR 17.98 LPA) and Financial Management (INR 17.50 LPA) specialisations.

XISS Ranchi Placement Cell

Xavier Institute of Social Service Ranchi has a Central Placement Cell, headed by the Chief Coordinator, that aims to place students in reputed companies. The Central Placement Cell works in unison with Departmental Placement Cells to provide the best placement opportunities for students. The Departmental Placement Cells, constituting student coordinators, are guided by senior faculties from the respective department.

The XISS Ranchi placement cell organises multiple placement training sessions for students to prepare them for final placements. Various workshops, seminars, guest lectures, etc., with experts from the industry, are conducted to provide the required exposure for students.

The XISS Ranchi placement cell also plans industrial visits, interactions, and live projects throughout the year to prepare students for the corporate world. Along with final placements, the placement cell organises internship drives for first-year students.

XISS Ranchi Placement Process

Phase 1 of Xavier Institute of Social Service placement, both internship and final placements, usually begins in October and continues till December. Phase 2 starts mid-January and ends in March. The step-by-step process for conducting XISS Jharkhand placement is given below.

• Companies interested in campus placement should inform the XISS placement cell of the visit date in advance.
• Additionally, they are asked to list the accommodations/ transportation needs and scheduling requirements needed for the selection process.
• Pre-placement Talks are organised by companies either on-campus or virtually. PPTs help students better understand the role, work culture, company profile, etc.
• The placement cell then schedules a date for the selection process and informs the students.
• Interested students will apply for the selection process of the specific company.
• The company will conduct the selection process, group discussions, interviews, online tests, etc., on-campus or virtually. Few companies might invite students to their headquarters for the final interview.
• Offer letters are issued for selected candidates through the XISS Ranchi placement cell. Students with an offer letter will not be allowed to participate in future placements.
