Vellore Institute of Technology B. Tech Eligibility Criteria, B.Tech admission is done based on marks obtained in VITEEE 2021 (VIT Engineering Entrance Examination). The eligibility criteria for the qualifying examination is to pass 10+2/ Intermediate with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number for verification.
Once it completes, a password will be sent to the registered email address.

Step 2: Sign in for Registered Users
Candidates can log in with the registered email address and password.
Step 3: Fill Online Application Form

An application number will be generated after the submission.

Step 4: Make Payment
Pay the application fee of INR 1050 (Excluding bank service charges).
Payment can be made through Netbanking/ Credit/ Debit card/ Paytm.
Step 5: Upload photo and Signature
Upload a recent photograph and Signature image with a size between 10kb and 200 kb and the dimension of 3.5 CM X 1.5 CM.
Selfie photos are not allowed.
Step 6: Payment Transaction Queries
During the transaction, if the amount is debited please do not try a new application. In that case, candidates are requested to wait for 48 hours and try for the payment once again in the same registered email id.

How to get admission to B.Tech programmes under VIT Chennai admission?
Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech programmes must have passed 10+2 in the relevant stream. Admission is based on marks obtained in VITEEE 2020 (VIT Engineering Entrance Examination). The required eligibility for the qualifying examination is to pass higher secondary with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths/ Biology. The minimum required marks must be 50% or above for SC/ ST candidates or candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh/ Assam/ Manipur/ Meghalaya/ Mizoram/ Nagaland/ Sikkim or Tripura.
What are the basic eligibility criteria for MBA admission at VIT?
For MBA admission at VIT, an applicant must have passed graduation with at least 60% marks. Candidates are selected based on their valid scorecard in entrance tests such as CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ NMAT/ CMAT followed by Written Assessment Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
The eligibility criteria are very simple. One needs to have a minimum of around 75% in the 10th and 12th board examinations. To apply to the college, one needs to fill up the application for VIT entrance examination. It's usually online examination though it has detected centres for the same. The rankings are then announced. For computer science and engineering, the cutoff rank usually ranges from 2000-3000 in category 1. They open the latter categories up to category 5 but the tuition fee increases as well.
The eligibility criteria are the student should have 75 percent marks in the PCM and should have rank under 100000 in VITEEE. To get admission is VIT I gave VITEEE. Cutoffs depend on the availability of seats and category of fees paid.
VIT universities don't set any eligibility criteria for this INTEGRATED MTECH SOFTWARE ENGINEERING, if you have enough merits marks in your 12 the grade school then you are completely eligible for this course.
Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full time and Formal Education are alone eligible to apply.
Have to secure minimum 60% aggregate marks in the subjects in 10+2 Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics (or its equivalent).
There is no entrance examination for this course.
The minimum eligibility criteria for Mtech Software Engineering(5 yrs Integrated) course is 60% in higher secondary(12th) or junior college.
Admission Procedure:
Step 1: You have to fill-in the application form which you can get from any of VIT campus or you can Apply online here. http://vit.ac.in/admissions (Applications issuing starts in the month of April) and courier it to mentioned Adress in the application package.
Step 2: Based on your cutoff marks you will be shortlisted.if you are shortlisted you will receive a message with counseling date from VIT.
Step 3: Based on your cutoff you are ranked and counseling will be done in rank wise.
Cutoffs:
The minimum cutoff is 65% in (Physics, Chemistry, and Maths), but you must have a minimum of 75% so that you can think of getting Shortlisted.if have above 80% definitely you will get Shortlisted.
The Eligibility criteria are all about you should have completed your Higher Secondary(+2) with a minimum percentage of 60.
The higher secondary can be from computer science or biology background, I would suggest that this course is more favorable and adaptable to computer science students
Admission procedure:
Step 1: you have to fill in the Application form. You can get it from VIT Chennai or Vellore or you can download from here(http://vit.ac.in/academics/schools/site/courses) and courier it VIT Vellore or Chennai.
Step 2: Issuing of application starts from the month of April for more details refer(via.acin).
Step 3: You will be shortlisted based on our percentage in Higher Secondary(+2) and an invitation message will be sent to your mail id and contact number
Step 4: After shortlisting, you have to attend the counseling and rank will be known.
Step 5: Based on ur rank they will give you an admission which is categorized into three, fees structure varies for each category.
There is no any entrance Examination for this course
It is advisable that to have a cutoff of about above 80%.
1. PCM OR PCMB in 12TH and the candidate must have good rank VITEEE.
2. I gave VITEEE which is Vellore institute of tech. engineering entrance examination.
3. There were no cutoff marks as we were not given a score of our exam and we only got VITEEE rank.
Students have to clear VITEEE entrance exam which has no negative marking. Depending upon the performance you're given ranks and called for counseling. Syllabus for VITEE is same as what we were studied in 11th and 12th. Approximately 250-300 students are taken for each branch namely CSE, EEE, ECE, ECM, Mechanical, and CIVIL.
The eligibility criteria for VIT is 60% marks in 12th boards. The admission procedure is that the student must write the VITEEE exam and without which there is no admission for the student. The entrance examination i took was VITEEE the examination is of 125 marks with no negative markings. 90+ is a safe score for the course

In order to get admission into Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai, you have to first write the VITEEE test. After which, there will be a counseling session. Candidates are called for counseling according to the rank they obtain in the VIT entrance exam.
