VIT Chennai offers scholarships under GV School Development Programme. Candidates must meet the eligibility conditions set by the university to avail of the scholarships. Further details about the VIT Chennai scholarship are mentioned below.
Top students receive merit awards, while economically disadvantaged students receive need-based financial aid each year. Scholarships are also granted to deserving NRI and international students. Rural students who achieve district-level rankings (Tamil Nadu kids only) are eligible for free education, while top VITEEE rank holders are eligible for first-year admission scholarships. M.Tech GATE toppers are eligible for a Vellore Institute of Technology Chennai scholarship. Scholarships are also awarded to students who excel in sports and games. Under the Semester Overseas Program, VIT Chennai students who wish to undertake their project work can receive financial aid (SAP). VIT Chennai grants appropriate research associateships to deserving and needy students to encourage them to conduct research.
