Infrastructure Facilities at Vijaya Engineering College, [VEC] Khammam:

Central Library:

• The central library was established in 2008 and houses more than 27,000 volumes, 126 national and 87 international journals, fully automated digital library, periodicals, magazines & online journals.
• The Library has fully computerized automated system for the transaction of the books and other reading materials for students.

Digital Library:

• The college provides 60 computers in the digital library.
• The college also provides high-speed internet connection to enable the students to access the e-files very quickly.
• The students can access a range of e-journals, e-books, e-lecturers by famous personalities, and much more, which will help them in having additional information.

Labs:

• Vijaya Engineering College offers labs of excellent infrastructure which provides the perfect environment for students to earn practical expertise in the important aspects of various engineering sectors.
• The students are provided with the tasks regarding the real-time application of industrial projects, and they work upon them in the laboratories.
• By indulging in projects that involve interacting with a professional environment, the students can earn excellent practical knowledge, which can make them suitable to handle various tasks in the industries right after the graduation, thereby increasing their chances to get selected in the reputable companies.

Sports and Games:

• Activities can play a crucial role in the physical and attitude development of the students. The college offers the required facilities and infrastructure to make students indulge in their favourite games and sports.
• The college houses excellent outdoor and indoor stadiums, which are provided with all the required facilities, making them even suitable for the commencement of prestigious tournaments.
• In addition to the regular practice sessions and college events, there are inter-college tournaments, so that students widespread their innate talents in the games and sports.

Auditorium:

• The college provides seminar hall or auditorium with excellent facilities, for conducting the important academic and cultural events.
• The seminar hall was established in the year 2008, and from then, it has been the venue for a total of 600 events till now.
• This auditorium features an excellent centralized air conditioning system, to keep the students and guests comfortable during the events.
• LCDs, projectors and excellent sound system are offered so that the students face no issues during the academic events.
• A total of 800 members can participate in the events conducted in the seminar hall.

Internet:

• Our campus is provided with 24×7 internet via Wi-Fi.
• The internet connection features high-speed browsing, downloading and uploading activities so that students can access or transfer the large files with ease.

Anti - Ragging Cell:

• Vijaya’s Anti-ragging cell was set up to safeguard the rights of the fresher engineering students. The ragging cases are zero in and outside of the college premises.
• The anti-ragging cell consists of the experienced faculty, who can deal the ragging activities sternly.
• It also organizes numerous spies across the campus, who provide the cell with the information regarding any ragging incidents, and this enables the cell to take quick actions against the incidents, thereby saving the fresher students from any kind of niggles. The responsible students will face stern action against their acts.

Women Grievance Cell:

• The women grievance cell safeguards the rights and provides security for the women at our campus. It saves them from any misacts against them.
• The women grievance cell is active in curbing out any issues against them. If any lady faces obtrusive comments and actions, sexual harassment, etc., then she can file the case in the grievance cell, and we will look after the pieces of evidence. On the basis of the findings, we will take the necessary actions against the culprits. You are not needed to spend in fear, even if the miscreant is in a top position in the college.

Transportation:

• Transportation facility is offered to the students, who reside in the radius of 60Km from the college.
• Apart from this, there are numerous RTC services, so that our students can reach the college without any issues.
• 20 buses are provided, which ply to many areas, including Khammam, Vallabhi, etc. These buses are always maintained in immaculate condition, and the drivers are highly experienced and they are excellent at safe driving

Cafeteria:

• Vijaya’s cafeteria provides excellent service to the students, by offering them with healthy and tasty dishes.
• The quality of food served to students is done carefully, and also, take every bit of care to maintain the cleanliness of the surroundings of the cafeteria.
• Since both of these aspects are crucial for the health of the students, the college maintains impeccable standards, and this is precisely the reason for the students and parents to trust and enjoy the food at our cafeteria.
• The food provided is of different blends so that students can enjoy with their friends while having their food, and also relax in their leisure time.
