VCP, Hyderabad Admission 2024

The college is a part of Mother Mary Educational Society. Established in 2006, the college provides excellent education in the field of pharmaceutical science. It is accredited by PCI, AICTE and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University. Vijaya College of Pharmacy, Hyderabad offers courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The campus is well-endowed with infrastructure, such as adequate instrumentation, machine rooms, laboratories, a well-stocked library, a computer centre and seminar hall.

At the undergraduate level of study, the college offers the B.Pharmacy (Bachelor of Pharmacy) degree. The course will require students to learn subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology and Health Education, Pharmaceutical organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Dispensing and Hospital Pharmacy, and Remedial Mathematics/Biology.

The B.Pharmacy course is a 4 year course which includes theory and also laboratory experiments and practical examinations. Total intake capacity at the UG level is 100 students per batch.

Admission

• The admission to the B.Pharmacy course is through a State-Level Entrance Test called "Engineering, Agricultural Sciences and Medical Common Entrance Test" (EAMCET), conducted by the Government of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh. These are “category A” seats.
• There is also a “category B” of limited management seats available.

At the postgraduate level, the college offers the Master of Pharmacy or M.Pharm course. There are four specialization options to choose from. Each specialization accepts an intake of 15 students. Making a total of 60 students per batch at the postgraduate level. The college also offers an MBA programme.

Duration of both courses is 2 years. The course will be carried out in the semester system, therefore the 2-year degree will comprise four semesters. In case of the M.Pharmacy degree, the first two semesters will be dedicated to coursework, while the third and fourth semesters shall be exclusively for dissertation work.

Admission

• Candidates desiring admission “category A” (merit) must have a valid entrance exam score in the corresponding entrance tests (PGECET/GPAT for M.Pharmacy and ICET for MBA)
• Admission through the Management quota can be done by filling the application form available on the official website of the college/at the administrative office.
