Conceptual teaching along with Research and Development makes the Institute unique and provides an opportunity to produce competent and employable engineers with a broader outlook. VBIT has been following this novel model and exposing the students to the current technological and industrial trends.
Research activities in different fields are guided by the experts from Academic, Industry, and Research Institutions. Talks by such experts are also being arranged by respective Departments. The output from these developments is that, the in-house student projects are guided by the faculty, researchers and experts from industry. The faculty members are also trained in the current technological and research trends.
Chethana Auditorium
This recently renovated state-of-the art auditorium can accommodate around 200 members. This vast auditorium is used for various college functions, guest lectures by eminent people and for different cultural programs on occasions like Independence Day, Republic Day and other cultural activities.
Seminar Halls
Vignana Bharathi Institute of Technology , Hyderabad is having the three seminar halls & one board room for conducting the National & International Seminars & Conferences , Guest Lecturers . These are fully equipped with the eco sound system which are centralized for each one.
Internet Facility
Our college has dedicated Internet of bandwidth 16 Mbps, connected throughout the Campus with 800 syetms. Students and faculties are free to access internet after the regular working hours. This helps the students to prepare papers on the latest technologies to be presented in various symposiums and seminars. 24 hours Internet facility is provided.
Internet facilities in the well-equipped internet lab, providing high speed of connectivity the student can surf the net together unlimited information. The Internet allows classroom teachers and those with distance-learning classes to post lectures, notes and presentation documents on the college’s network.
Trupthi – Cafeteria
VBIT has an excellent cafeteria for students as well as faculty. The aesthetically built cafeteria building, with 6000 sft built up area, can accommodate 250 people at a time so that many students can have food simultaneously without waiting for someone to make room. Lots of open places have been left around the canteen making it a favourite hangout spot for all the students.
The cafeteria is well managed and well maintained providing hygienic and nutritious food. Majority of the faculty too take food in the canteen and the services are limited to vegetarian. A variety of breakfast items and sumptuous lunch are made available at subsidised prices. In addition to these regular items, fruit juices and other beverages are also served. The canteen caters high quality food at affordable prices not only to all visiting dignitaries but also to functions at the institute conducted by students and management from time to time.
Transportation
The college operates its own buses, in 18 routes during 2008-09, for the convenience of the students and faculty. College run buses pick up students and faculty covering every corner of the twin cities on payment basis. The number of routes are getting enhanced every year based on the commuters. Apart from the college run buses, the APSRTC operates two bus service routes to the college from city.
The institute is situated hardly a kilometer from the main road on the Warangal Highway, transport is absolutely hassle free. All the APSRTC buses and other private transport vehicles plying on Hyderabad-Warangal highway, pass through the college bus stop on the main road.
