Institute of Distance and Open Learning Mumbai provides excellent academic opportunities to students. Hostel: The Mumbai University IDOL hostel offers separate accommodation facilities for girls and boys. The college has three hostels for girls named Maharshi Dhondo Keshav Karve Girls Hostel Vidyanagari, Pandita Ramabai Girls Hostel and Savitribai Phule Girls Hostel, with accommodation capacity 50,16 and 77, respectively. There are two boys hostels named Jugonnath Sunkersett Hall Hostel and Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil, which can accommodate 179 and 80 students. The college also has an International Students Hostel, which can accommodate around 123 students.

Virtual Classrooms: Mumbai University IDOL has a virtual classroom. It is used to present live-stream lectures, workshops, and seminars. 

Central Computing Facility: Mumbai University IDOL infrastructure has a central computing facility with the following facilities.

• Computers with IBM Netfinity, Servers, Printers (Dot Matrix, Laser, Line Printers, Line Matrix) with graphics capability, ICR scanners.
• Windows NT, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Novell Netware
