University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata was established in the smart city of Eastern India by the Government of West Bengal. UEM Kolkata is spread over an area of 3 acres of land within the campus of IEM hosting about 4996 students. The institute's infrastructure has adopted modern architecture for the betterment of students as it has all the latest technology and facilities from which the students can learn and better themselves. Library

• The library at UEM Kolkata is well stocked with books on various subjects and contemporary national and international journals.
• The library facilities are available to the students 24*7.
•  Kindle facility is available through which students can access their required information by means of audio, video and various types of online databases and journals.
• Library OPAC system is available.
• Digital library is available.
• Lecture DVD/CD can be used only in the library.

Laboratories

• All the departments present in the University have access to their own labs for experiments and work.
• The labs are all of the latest technology and facilities.

Hostel Facilities

• Both boys and girls have separate hostels with proper facilities.
• The hostels house up to 233 students.
• The food mess is outsourced, but it is managed by the students under the guidance of teachers.
• There is strict vigilance and special security for girl students.

Computer Labs

• The computer labs have the latest state-of-the-art facilities and software.
• The software in the labs is all licensed.
• The speed of the internet is 1GBPs.
• The students have access to 1040 computers.

Transport Facilities

• There is a regular bus service provided to the students who live in and around the city.
• There are a total of 3 buses providing their services to the students and faculty members who do not live within the campus grounds.
