The University College of Law, founded in 1962, is a reputable constituent college of the well-known Karnataka University to meet the educational needs of the law students of North Karnataka.

The college has launched the 5-year B.A., LL.B.(Hons.) program recommended by the Bar Council of India from 1997 to 98. UCL Admission into this program is based on an Admission Test where the competition is too keen.

University College of Law BA LLB Program

Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BA LLB) is an undergraduate Administrative Law professional course. The length of the course is five years and consists of 10 study semesters. This integrated BA LLB syllabus consists of disciplines such as political science, sociology, economics, and English as minor fields of study to complement the broad range of law subjects. The combination of both courses allows practitioners to work and have a broader perspective on the law and the required common civil services application. Some of the jobs a BA LLB graduate can get into are Legal Advisor, Public Prosecutor, District Judge, Sessions Judge, Legal Attorney, Corporate Lawyer, etc.
