Infrastructure is a total of the top level. The campus area is huge, with hostel facilities, the canteen at a cost-effective price.
I would say it is one of the best design schools in India. The kind of infrastructure and facilities they provide is mattered the most. High tech class facilities, experienced pool of faculty members making it possible for the students to express & nurture their skills. A number of workshops are been provided regularly to encourage and to be innovative. Renowned artists, designers even international faculty do visit for a few workshops. The opportunity in UID is not confined to the national level. Designing aspirants students should go for UID, KARNAVATI UNIV.

Placements are 100 percent. UID does its best to provide opportunities to students, but many of them choose not to go for job and prefer to start their own company for which UID has an Incubator cell. Companies for Internship, graduation project and placement are almost same, based on their requirement they circulate the opportunities.
Mostly companies recruit 1-2 students. And our most of the super seniors are all placed in either big brands or startups. Startups are real game changer. Most to learn there and get more explorative projects.

Rs. 2,00,000/- is the course fee per semester at Unitedworld Institute of Design, [UID] Ahmedabad. There no scholarship for now.
As far as internship is concerned, be self dependent. Try to talk to people and build more and more contacts. Do not blindly rely on college for that. Same goes for placements. Though for now, there is no campus placement, but in future companies might be here for hiring students as the college is advancing in a quite satisfactory pace.
Is design creeping up in your head? Is your mind inviting innovative ideas? Then the Unitedworld Institute of Design(UID) might also be a good option for you.
If you might be thinking, getting here is not that much of a humongous task. You just need to have some ideas and the skill to execute them at the basic level. You must be 10+2 passed to apply for admission. There is a written test as 1st stage. For clearing it, you require basic maths knowledge, general awareness and basic drawing and sketching. Know about certain basic design things such as perspective, live drawing, live scene drawing, human drawings and object drawings. Try to have different angle of looking at things. If you get all this, the 1st stage is yours!
The 2nd stage consists of Situation test and portfolio presentation/interview. Know about materials like paper, sticks, rubber band etc and how to use them to create something meaningful. For creating your portfolio, collect your best works...be it sketching, photography, software work(if any) and compile them. Make sure you know your work well and if asked about it, you can explain. For interview, just know yourself, know your work, know your design field and know your surroundings.
All this is enough to do there job of pulling you through the entrances.
