The exam [DAT] is conducted for admission to B.Des and M.Des programmes. The exam [Offline] consists of MCQ with General Knowledge & IQ Test, Creative & Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability/ Numeracy Test, Data Interpretation & Analytical Test. Descriptive type questions include Comprehension, Creative Thought Process, Sense of Composition, Sketching & Rendering, Originality of Ideas, Hand Skills.

It's been amazing journey here, well expertised faculties, infrastructure is totally different from other colleges, many opportunities are offered for DESIGN branch when compared to others like Travel grant for abroad in order to present papers etc. Even industrial visits are taken for all branches. Cultural activities are also good. Sports also well pampered here giving great opportunity and guiding. Placements are pretty good based on your skills. Faculties are well experienced very friendly and provide us with great knowledge. Totally its very good college. Am happy joining here.
UID offers Bachelor of Design (BDes) 4 year course at UID Ahmedabad as well as (MDES) 2 year course .The eligibility criteria for UID entrance exam for BDes course admissions states that candidates who have cleared or who will be appearing for their higher secondary (10+2) qualifying examination from any stream (Science, Arts, Commerce, etc.) from any recognised board such as CBSE, IB, ICSE or their equivalent in the year can apply for the exam. After Appearing for DAT thats DESIGN APPTITUTE TEST , once cleared have to appear for the second round thats STPE stands for SITUATIONAL TEST & PORTFOLIO EVALUATION
The students from all around the different places who have qualified their senior secondary exams and secured a minimum of 60% can apply for admissions in this college. Unitedworld Institute of Design which is now a part of Karnavati University, Ahmedabad, gives out application forms that are easily available online. I applied for the entrance exam for UID and after clearing the first round of exam, there was a studio round where we gave situation tests and then portfolio and interview were taken, all in the college campus.
My life at UID in the last one year has been an amazing journey. Whether it is the classroom assignments or working for events. The huge campus with the classrooms with the amazing faculty create an outstanding environment to nurture creativity and design thinking.
Admission into an undergraduate program is 10+2 (any stream), with a minimum of 50% aggregate score from any recognized education board. Besides, the Design Aptitude Test scores are necessary for fora admission.
1) The eligibility criteria is that you should be 12th pass and should have more than 50% marks. 2)I took the college entrance exam which includes written exam in 1st phase and studio test and personal interview in 2nd phase.
One should have an education in 10+2+3/4. You have to write their private exam of DAT- Design Aptitude Test. Exam Question is of 4 sections that include aptitude, stats skill, design column, and GK.
