Unitedworld Institute of Design, [UID] Ahmedabad - Placements and Companies Visited

Placements are 100 percent. UID does its best to provide opportunities to students, but many of them choose not to go for job and prefer to start their own company for which UID has an Incubator cell. Companies for Internship, graduation project and placement are almost same, based on their requirement they circulate the opportunities.

Mostly companies recruit 1-2 students. And our most of the super seniors are all placed in either big brands or startups. Startups are real game changer. Most to learn there and get more explorative projects.

Yes, UID has its placement Cell, during which they provide internships, graduation projects and placements to students.  The minimum stipend limit is 15 k and it goes up to 75 k. They give you full freedom to choose your internship company and project you want to work on with them

As far as internship is concerned, be self dependent. Try to talk to people and build more and more contacts. Do not blindly rely on college for that. Same goes for placements. Though for now, there is no campus placement, but in future companies might be here for hiring students as the college is advancing in a quite satisfactory pace.

The college is very good. Excellent faculty and also helps in giving industrial exposure to all its students. It is also equipped with an excellent library.
