- Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ ST students) having physics, mathematics and chemistry/ biology/ biotechnology/ technical vocational course or
- They should have done a diploma of 3 years with 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ ST students)
- They should have written JEE Main or
- Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with 75% aggregate (70% for SC/ ST students) having physics, mathematics and chemistry/ biology/ biotechnology/ technical vocational course
