Admission Details:
Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech:
- Candidates applying for M.Tech. Programmes may seek admission either based on valid GATE score on GATE category or based on the performance in the University entrance examinations.
- Several seats are reserved for people who fall under NE quota, candidates who are SC/ST, and wives/widows/children of ex-servicemen, those with disability, etc.
- M.Tech is available in the fields of
- Civil Engineering- Candidate needs to have a B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Polymer Science and Technology- Candidate needs to have a B.Tech. or a B.E. in Polymer Science and Technology, Fiber Science and Technology, Textile Technology, Plastic Technology, Chemical Engineering i.e., any one of those streams ; or he or she can be a Master of Science in any discipline from a recognized Institutions with 50% marks or equivalent grade or having Chemistry as one of the subject in the Bachelor Degree.

Scholarships Provided:
- 30% of scholarships are secured for female students. If the number of girls is lesser than the required value, then the subsequent leftover scholarships may be given to boy students in need.
- Merit-cum-means scholarship is awarded to students of Technical and Professional Courses, who have received not less than 50% marks in the final examination they cleared before applying and if the annual income of their guardian doesn't cross the mark of 2.5 lac per annum. 2 students from a single family are not both eligible for scholarships.
- Candidates admitted to M.Tech. in Polymer Science and Technology with valid GATE scores are entitled to get scholarships from AICTE.

- Loans are provided by the banks and fundrasing organisations associated with the university to aid students who have financial concerns, students from across the borders, etc.
