The College has a spacious Library of 1019.60 Sq.M. plinth area of more than 66617 Volumes and 8363 Titles as on 30^th may,2016  with several Indian and International editions on various topics accompanied by important Journals, Magazines, News Papers and CD-ROMs to keep students abreast of the latest advancements and developments in the field of Engineering & Technology. A well spaced out reading room and reference section with extensive reading material on GATE, GRE, TOEFL, GMAT, CAT and UPSC based texts are also available. We also house a Book Bank for general as well as SC/ST students. We maintain non-book printed material like 1200+CD’S & DVD’S. The total seating capacity in the library is over 240.

CANTEEN

The college is a large spacious area with the variety of refreshments and meals available it tends to be the most popular place on campus, not only for physical refreshments but also for student bonding, discussions and even work on assignments and projects. College canteen provides delicious and hygienic food at very affordable prices. South Indian, north Indian, Chinese food both vegetarian and non vegetarian are available.

TRANSPORTATION

SMEC always maintains a good fleet for the transportation of all its students across the city. The college also provides free bus services from Kompally to college. Special bis services are available for the students participating in sports activities. The routes are designed in such a way that everyone can find an ideal spot for the college bus nearby his /her house. The bus timing are also fixed in accordance with the college working hours.
