The college has excellent reputations among corporates and non-governmental organizations, News agencies like Reuters, The Hindu etc hire students from the college every year. corporate giants including Tata consultancy services and Infosys conduct training in college to develop necessary corporate skills in students. st, josephs college encourages students to do internships even while studying and separate credits are awarded for the students who are interning at reputed firms.
Shell company was there for the placements. No stipend was given for internship.
I am supposed to do an internship outside the college for about 4 to 6 weeks it can be paid or unpaid. There are companies like GS and EY who recruit students from colleges after an interview process. those companies pay you really well an approx of 20000 to 30000 for an intern who is working with them. There are many more companies who come for placement during your final year. You are given a chance to choose your requirements such as marketing, sales and various other fields all those are up to you. They give you a package for around 4 lakhs.Almost around 30-40% of students get through the placements there is a placement cell in college which helps the students to get an update about the upcoming placements
Almost all the major companies come for placements and for internships such as Goldman Sachs, Deloitte etc. There are also a lot of startups that have originated from college students and alumni.
Yaa, placements are there. Good companies come and participate. Here Very good companies come here.
Many reputed companies hire our students with an average salary of INR 5-6 lakhs per annum. The alumni network is good.
Many reputed companies like Goldman Sachs, KPMG etc hire our students with a decent salary.
I haven't done an internship. Few companies come to offer placement from our college but the package was not too high
