St. John College of Engineering and Management, Palghar was started to provide an opportunity to the semi-urban and rural youth of Palghar and the surrounding districts in Maharashtra. The college is a college run by Aldel Education Trust which is a Christian Religious Minority Institution as notified by the Maharashtra State Minorities Development Department.
