SSM College of Engineering Namakkal Scholarship Details

Fees & Scholarships : Fee for the local students is 1,00,000 INR per annum and for international students is INR 1,17,000 per annum. Based on the +2 marks scored they are providing the scholarship. For the SC cast students, they are giving 100% scholarship.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The candidate must have passed the 12th from a recognized institute. No separate entrance exam is conducted. Minimum 150 cutoff mark is required.

Placements & Internships : I have done an internship at Getmyuni with stipend 6000 INR. Amazon, Skyla Technology, Alpha, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Sutherland, Windcare, Tech Mahindra, IDBI bank and Ahill are the companies hiring for the role web designer, web developer, technical supporter and customer service support Engineer. The average salary offered was 20,000-25,000 INR per annum. 100% of students placed in the year of  2015 and miss Priyanka from ECE got 30,000 INR in CTS. They are maintaining good Alumni network.

Academics & Faculty : College timing is from 9 am to 4.40 pm. Students can do a mini project in the 2nd year and main project in final year. We are having three internals with two models. The pass marks in every exam should be 70 out of 100.If students unable to score that marks mean they should want to submit the assignment. In our college, they recruit well knowledgeable staffs. Teaching is very much good.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 3 hostels present including girls, boys and international hostel with free Wi-Fi facility. The hostel fee per month is 12,000 INR and mess fee per month is 3100 INR. The PG courses are MBA and MCA which costs INR 2,50,000 per annum. In our food court variety of food is available and they cost 50 INR per meal. For teaching purpose projector is connected in every classroom. Each department having a lab with all new equipment. In the computer lab, we are having more than 100 computers. JIO Wi-Fi is available for all over the college campus.

Clubs & Associations : The clubs in our college are NSS, NCC, EDC, CC CLUB, ROTARY CLUB, IEEE ASSOCIATIONS, WOMEN GRIEVANCES AND RIDRACEL CLUB, WELCOME ASSOCIATION, ATCHAYAM TRUST, APEX CLUB, STEMSEL  INNOVATORS CLUB, HAM CLUB. The main festivals on campus are graduation day, Pongal festival celebration, Sivaji trophy, sports day, annual day, symposium of each department, science expo, founder's day.
