The SEC campus spreads over 300 acres in a beautiful and serene atmosphere ideally suited for technical education. The infrastructure and facilities available on campus are amongst the very best. It is a wholly self-contained campus comprising of everything that students on campus would ever require. Come; see it to believe it.

Hostel

A home away from home provided for both boys and girls separately accommodating 581 boy students and 276 girl students in an area of 20529 sq.m.The architecturally designed buildings and the surroundings offer a cool, green, pleasant and eco-friendly atmosphere which stimulates positive learning. It provides a lively environment which helps in healthy interaction among the students.

Transport

The College is easily accessible from Tambaram Railway Station by the state operated transport service. In addition, the college owns a fleet of 136 buses and these buses operate along nearly 115 routes in and around Chennai. Our booming transport facilities ensure that our students and staff are able to reach the college in time with utmost ease.

Library

A library is the heart of an academic institution. Our institution encourages all students and staff members to make the best use of the library that has been carefully built up since the inception of the college. The library is housed in a spacious area of 625 sq.m., fully computerized and air-conditioned with Reference Section, Magazine Section and Stack Area. Presently there are more than 36,000 books and reference volumes stacked for the benefit of staff and students. There is an established media resource centre. Our library follows the open access system and is encouraging students to browse in the stack area. The library subscribes more than 180 specialized journals, over one third of them being international. We are also a member of US information service (USIS), British Council Library, CSIR, Delnet, Malibnet, IIT, CII, Madras Productivity Council and Anna University.

Computer

All Computers are high configuration and Campus wide Network, 24 hour’s internet facility are available.

Cafeteria

Our canteen is effectively functioning to satisfy the needs of students and staff with a variety of delicious food items at affordable rates.

Bank / ATM

Our bank the Central Bank of India is situated in a sophisticated building within the campus with an ATM facility.Staff and students for transactional an all days.
