ACADEMICS & FACULTY

Class timings for Bcom is from 3 to 4 hours daily. Internals exams is conducted after every 2 months. There will be 2 semesters in every year. Assignments are also given to the student's to boost up there knowledge. Quality and method of teaching is good. Teachers give attention to every student and are also ready to help them every time and the overall experience at the college is good.

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

There are many societies and clubs for the students which help them in their personality development like Health club, Nature club, Sports Club, Dramatic club, Ncc club, Nss Club etc. The main festivals that we celebrate together in college are Management day, Freshers Day Teacher's Day, Sophians day, Sports day, Christmas. The fashion show is also organized every year for the students. Life in general at college is amazing.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY

My B.com classes were of 4 hours of duration and 1 hour for each subject. In every two months, there is an internal exam of 20 marks then the semester exam of 70 marks. Quality and method of teaching is good and the overall experience is very good.

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

There are many societies and clubs for students, which help them for personality development and to gain more knowledge. Some of the festivals which we celebrate every year are sophians day management, teachers day, freshers day. Fashion show is also organized every year and the life is good at college.

Teachers are are. And they give the notes of every single line. The daily routine is just like a school which is very good. Assembly is conducted every day in which every student of Sophia Girls College the college has to be there it is compulsory for all. Overall experience was very good. The teachers check the copies of every student in which they give notes.

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

CLUBS: Good news group, Movie club, Music club, Nature club, NCC, NSS, Spectrum, women development.

Life, in general, is very good. The atmosphere is good. Students can learn many things.Participation in extra-curricular activities is expected, so that students realize that the learning process goes beyond academic study.

The daily routine is well disciplined and maintained, regular classes and exams for assessment of learning abilities. There are a lot of extracurricular activities and overall development of the student.

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

All departments have their own societies and clubs imparting practical knowledge of the same. In general, the college life is worth experiencing.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY

Morning 9:00 am to 1:00 pm we had our lectures and a break after that classes end at 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. We also had our practical classes. Faculties are awesome and I really had a very nice experience in my college.

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

We had many cultural fests in the college. Management day and much more, we had 6 forums and 4 clubs. Life in the college is very awesome.

About Sophia Girls College, [SGC] Ajmer

Sophia Girls’ College, Ajmer functions under the management of the Mission Sisters of Ajmer, a Sisterhood of Indian women, whose dedication to God enables them to impart a liberal and enlightened education in the upliftment of humanity. Rt. Rev. Msgr. Fortunatus Caumont, First Bishop of Ajmer, (1871- 1930) the Founder of the Mission Sisters of Ajmer and his sister Rev. Mother Matilda (1880-1950) are the Founders of the Institution.

The Sophian Institution was founded in 1919 as a small Primary School to educate girls of conservative families of the time. It gradually grew from Middle to a High School and in 1942 was raised to the Intermediate level. The Institution acquired the Degree status in 1959 so as to provide Higher Education facilities for women. Today the institution is a full-fledged College permanently affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer in the faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce, Management (BBA), Computer Application (BCA), Honours in English and Economics, Post Graduation in English and Computer Science.
