Eligibility Criteria at Shri Balwant Institute of Technology, [SBIT] Sonepat

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech:

• The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination from recognized Board / University.
• The candidate must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subjects Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science.
• The candidate should have an aggregate of minimum 45 %.
• The candidate should have appeared in Entrance Examination i.e JEE Mains.

 For Lateral Entry (3 years):

• The candidate should have passed a diploma examination from Haryana Board of Technical Education or its equivalent or equivalent examination.
• The candidate should have aggregate marks of 60% in the final year of his/her Diploma Examination.
• The candidate should have a degree in BSc from a recognized university with mathematics as a subject, with 60% marks in aggregate.

 Eligibility Criteria for BBA, BCA:

• The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination from recognized Board / University.
• The candidate should have aggregate marks of minimum 45% .
• The Candidate must have studied mathematics as one of the subjects

 Eligibility Criteria for MCA:

• The candidate should have passed with a minimum 3 Years duration of recognized Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
• Candidate must have studied Math/Statistics at 10 + 2 level OR with Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects OR Should be a pass in BCA Degree of minimum three years duration from a recognized University.
• Candidate must have finished the degree with a minimum of 50% marks.

 Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech:

• The candidate must have passed B.Tech. from any recognized University in (Computer Science & Engineering/ Computer Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering)
• The candidate should have an aggregate of minimum 50% marks.
• For candidates with a MCA or M.Sc. degree(Computer Science/IT/Software/Maths/Physics) the minimum aggregate should be 50%

 Eligibility Criteria for MBA:

• The candidate should have passed a recognized Bachelor’s Degree (BBA, B.Com, BA, BSc etc.) with a duration of minimum 3 years or a higher Degree (B.E., M.Tech, ME etc.)
• The candidate should have an aggregate mark of minimum 50% marks in all the subjects including languages.
• The candidate should have appeared in any of the following Entrance Examination i.e, MAT/CAT
• The candidate who Passes in Final Examination conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountant of India/Institute of Costs and Works Accountants of India/Institute of Company Secretaries of India is eligible also.

Application Process for BBA, BCA, B.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Tech:

Step 1: The candidate must go to the Official Website, through the link given below.

• The candidate should click on Admission tab as shown below to fill the Application form for the respective course
• The candidate will be directed to the Application form.
• Here, the candidate should first fill in his/her Personal details.
• The candidates have to fill in the details as follows
• Tick the course applied for

Step 3: Continue filling the form as follows.

Step 4: 

• Continue filling the form as follows.
• The candidate should fill in details about his/her Educational Background.

Step 5: Continue filling the form as follows.

Step 6: Continue filling the form as follows.

Step 7: Continue filling the form as follows.

Step 8: Continue filling the form as follows.

Step 9: Continue filling the form as follows.

Step 10: Continue filling the form as follows.

Admission Process for B.Tech, M.Tech:

•  Admissions shall be made on the basis of the merit of JEE-MAIN-2025 rank through Online, Off-Campus counselling by NIC.
•  For M.Tech, admissions will be done on the basis of Graduation percentage or GATE score in previous qualifying examinations.
•  There are 25% seats for the Managment quota.
•  The Admissions by Counseling conducted by HSCS for 75 % seats.
•  Alternatively, The candidate should visit the college in person and meet the Admission counsellor or the respective head of the department to know more about the various courses and other details.
•  The candidate should submit his/her application for registration.
•  The candidate should provide various other documents along with the Application.
•  The documents to be provided are Degree Certificate, Marks cards of all examinations.

Admission Process for MBA:

• Admissions shall be made on the basis of the merit of  CAT/MAT rank through On-line, Off-Campus counselling.
• There are 25% seats for the Managment quota.
• The Admissions by Counseling conducted by HSCS for 75 % seats.
• The candidate should submit his/her application for registration.
•  The candidate should provide various other documents along with the Application.

Admission Process for BBA, BCA, MCA:

• The Admission process is done in accordance with the provision and guidelines laid down by the competent authority of the Government of Haryana.
• The candidate should have an aggregate of 45% in the approved Intake.
• There are 25% seats for the Managment quota.
• There are 75% seats for Institute quota.
• The candidate should submit his/her application for registration.
•  The candidate should provide various other documents along with the Application.
•  Alternatively, The candidate should visit the college in person and meet the Admission counsellor or the respective head of the department to know more about the various courses and other details.
