Additional Details:

• Minimum pass marks in the qualifying examination shall be the eligibility condition for admission of the SC candidates 
• The eligibility of the candidates shall be ascertained at the time of counselling
• Admission shall be made on the basis of merit to be prepared in accordance with the criteria given in the information brochure
• Those who have done graduation or post-graduation shall not be eligible for admission to 5-year integrated programmes
• If two or more candidates secure identical marks in the merit, their relative merit will be determined by the marks obtained by them in the qualifying or equivalent examination
• In case the marks in the qualifying or equivalent examination are also identical, the candidate senior in age will be given preference
• Rounding off of the decimal digits to a whole number for calculating the percentage of marks shall not be permissible in any case, whatsoever at the time of admission
• Any candidate, who fails to turn up for counselling at his/ her turn, will be considered for the remaining seats at the time he/ she reports for counselling
• But no relaxation shall be given if the candidate fails to appear before the Counselling Committee on the fixed date/ time
• Seats, remaining vacant after every round of counselling, shall be displayed on the notice board of the Department/ Institute on the date given in the counselling schedule

Scholarships Offered to the Students:

• The scholarship in the form of Tuition Fee Concession will be awarded to the meritorious students at the time of admission and subsequent years.
• The scholarship for the student of lateral entry will also be admissible as per the below criteria. To ascertain their eligibility, the aggregate marks will be considered.

• Students of UG courses [except MBBS, BDS, and BAMS] can avail this scholarship

Merit-Based Scholarships:

• Students of UG courses [except MBBS, BDS, and BAMS] can avail this scholarship
• This scholarship is given based on the students’ performance in the semester/ annual examinations

Educational Loans:

• The education loans are provided by the Punjab National Bank [PNB] at the SGT University
• The loans are provided based on the needs of the students with the assurance of the collateral
• These are provided to the Indian Nationals
• The Interest rate concession is also available with the regular repayment of the loan during the study
