SGBM Engineering College has got a strong and full-fledged Career Guidance and Placement Unit (CGPU) with a full time Placement Officer. Regular placement oriented training programmes imparted from semester one onwards.

• Total of 72 companies have participated in the final placement process till the day for 2014 passed out students.
• Total of 5 companies have already participated in the final placement process till the day for 2015 passing out students.
• Total 52 number of students from SGBM who got placement offers-2013 – 2014 batches through CGPU
• More than 100 companies have given permission for doing internship for our B.Tech students.
• Already done 5 industrial visits for pre final year students.
• Conducted 25 career guidance and placement oriented training programmes till the day.
• Providing  internship assistance for all S7 and S5 students in industries.
• Other Industry Institute Interaction with more than 100 companies
• Providing placement orientation classes for all branches of S7 & S5 students.
• Conducting special English Language Lab session for all S7 students.
• Providing Industrial visits for all S7 and S5 students
