Eligibility criteria for B.Arch:

  • The eligibility criteria require the candidate to pass 10+2 with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
  • SC/ST candidates get a concession of 5% on the required score.
  • The candidates applying for B.Arch must have mathematics as a compulsory subject in 10+2.

Eligibility criteria for BA LLB, B.Ed, BBA:

  • The eligibility criteria require the candidate to pass 10+2 with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.

  • The candidates must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology as compulsory subjects in 10+2.

Eligibility criteria for MA:

  • Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree obtained through their Graduation or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India.
  • A Relaxation of 5% aggregate is given SC/ST candidates.

Eligibility criteria for MBA:

  • Graduation and a Bachelors degree in any discipline obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India.
  • There is a Relaxation of 5% for SC/ST candidates.  

Eligibility criteria for M.Com:

  • For admission to M.Com program, a student must have a Bachelor degree in Commerce with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • Passed B.Com. (Hons.) Degree from any recognized university equivalent thereto, with at least 50% marks.
  • Certain universities also admit students with a B.A. Economics (Hons.) degree.
  • Students who have passed B.B.S., B.B.A., B.F.I.A. and B.B.E. with at least 60% marks can also apply.

Eligibility criteria for MCA:

  • Graduation in any stream is the basic eligibility for MCA.
  • The institutes require 45 to 50 % aggregate in qualifying exam for taking admission. Reserved categories get some relaxation in aggregate percentage.
  • Apart from this, there is another prerequisite for taking admission in MCA degree, one must have studied Mathematics in 10+2 as a compulsory subject. 

Eligibility criteria for M.Ed:

  • Any person who has successfully cleared his B.Ed. from recognized institution with at least 50% marks is eligible to apply for this course.
  • Students with a B.Ed. or BA can also apply to the program. 

Eligibility criteria for M.Pharm:

  • The minimum eligibility for this course is a degree in Bachelor in Pharmacy program with a recommended minimum score of 50%.
  • An entrance exam is the preferred mode of admission by most colleges for this course. Most of the colleges accept the score of entrance test like Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT). 

Eligibility criteria for M.Phil:

  • Candidate must have a degree obtained through their Post Graduation or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India.
  • A Relaxation of 5% aggregate is there for SC/ST candidates.

Eligibility criteria for M.Sc:

  • The eligibility criteria for this course in colleges like is graduation in any discipline with Mathematics and English as main subjects with minimum 50% aggregate, however, institutes prefer students with a B.Sc. /B.E. /B.Tech. degree.

Eligibility criteria for MSW:

  • Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree obtained through their Graduation or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India.
  • A Relaxation of 5% aggregate is there for SC/ST candidates.

Eligibility criteria for MBBS:

  • The minimum eligibility for the course is 10+2 with subjects with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • The minimum eligibility for the course is 10+2 with subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  • English is also a mandatory subject for eligibility in many of the universities and colleges. However, AIIMS requires an aggregate of 60% for the general category candidates and 50% for SC/ST candidates.

Eligibility criteria for Diploma:

  • Graduation and a bachelors degree in any discipline obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India.

Application Process for B.Arch, BA LLB, BBA, BCA, B.Ed, BHMS, BPT, B.Sc, MA, MBA, M.Com, MCA, M.Ed, M.Pharm, M.Phil, M.Sc, MSW, MBBS, Diploma:

  • Candidates interested in doing the above courses can fill in the application form online.
  • All the required documents need to be attached.
  • The application form needs to be filled and submitted within the due date.

Admission Process for B.Arch, BA LLB, BBA, BCA, B.Ed, BHMS, BPT, B.Sc, MA, MBA, M.Com, MCA, M.Ed, M.Pharm, M.Phil, M.Sc, MSW, MBBS, Diploma:

  • All applicants must check with the university prospectus available on the university website to ascertain the eligibility requirements for the course(s) they might be applying for.
  • The applicants need to fill up their Enrolment Form downloaded from http://www2.spuvvn.edu/isc/interntional_student_admission_formenrollment.pdf and send this along with the relevant documents applicable in their individual case to the mailing address or e-mail address of the ISC.
  • Those applying for admission to Postgraduate Departments in the University should then download the application form, the eligibility form, and the registration form from the university website, fill these up, attach the relevant supporting documents, and bring these with them. Of course, they will have to pay the university the fee prescribed for the same on arrival in the university. Those others applying for admission to Postgraduate Centres in the colleges or institutions affiliated to the University need not download the application form.
  • All the documents must be invariably authenticated and attested by the appropriate officials in the University or Universities he or she attended. The ISC will need a minimum of four weeks from the date the documents are received here to process the application and inform the applicant about the outcome of his or her application.
  • All applicants found eligible applicant will be sent a provisional admission letter, which they are required to produce, with a valid passport in the Indian Embassy or the Indian High Commission (as the case may be) in their respective native countries, get a student visa endorsed to Sardar Patel University for the entire duration of any undergraduate or postgraduate programme.
  • Those applicants who send requests for admission to MPhil or PhD programmes should get a research visa similarly endorsed for the entire duration of the concerned programme.
  • Application forms for eligibility and for admission to the MPhil or PhD programmes and all other courses shall be submitted to the International Students Centre, with a fee of $835 in cash in person or by Demand Draft drawn in favour of the “Registrar, Sardar Patel University”, payable at Vallabh Vidyanagar only.
  • After a student is found eligible for admission to the MPhil degree course, his or her application for MPhil admission shall be sent to the concerned Department of the University. Applications for admission to the PhD programmes shall be placed before the concerned Research Committee.
  • Once the applicant arrives in India, he or she must approach the International Students Centre of Sardar Patel University. He/she must produce the original certificates for authenticating the photocopies attached to various forms. The original certificates will be returned to the student immediately after making the necessary endorsements.
  • No admission will be confirmed without the verification of their original certificates, medical fitness test and payment of required fees.

The candidate can apply online through the official website through the following steps, this is applicable for both undergraduate and post graduate courses such as M.Tech.

Online method:

  • Application form can be downloaded from the official university website
  • The application should be filled in with the required details
  • The application form should be submitted to the college before the last date of submission with required documents

The admission process for undergraduate courses is as follows, this is similar for all the undergraduate courses

Once selected, candidates enroll for the program as follows:

  • All candidates offered admission should pay the balance applicable fee as per the preferred payment plan
  • The fee can be paid by cash, through electronic transfer, or by demand draft in favor of the University
  • From here their status changes from a ‘candidate’ to a ‘student’ of the University

The students should submit the following documents 

  1. SSLC Certificate with Mark Sheet (for evidence of Date of Birth)
  2. Higher Secondary Mark Sheet
  3. Transfer Certificate from the Institution last studied
  4. Original Community Certificate
  5. Sports Certificates of achievement, if allotted under Sports Quota
  6. Extra Curricular Certificates, if any.
  7. Nativity Certificate
  8. Conduct Certificate
  9. Three Passport size photos
