The hostel facility is poor and the food is not good and the classrooms are average.
There is a separate hostel for girls and boys. The quality of the hostel is average. the hostel fee is around 40 thousand per year. The food is not much good and per meal cost 50rs.it has good classrooms coupled with projectors.library is also good.it does not have any wifi.
We do have separate buildings for girls and boys. Though the food taste cannot be compared to star rating restaurant, it doesn't bother your stomach and the food in our canteen is hygenic.
Facilities We Provide
Full-fledged hostel facilities for boys & girls students have been established inside the campus.It also provides good and safe facilities of lodging and boarding to cater to the needs of outstation students. SAEC, Chennai has full fledged facilities with STD, ISD, Gymnasium, a reading room and a computer room. The students are monitored with their well being by an efficient and qualified custodian.

Our college gynasium is equipped with a number of latest single and multi-station machines,weight training accessories,treadmills etc.
Dining & Health Care
The college hostel has hygienic steam cooking kitchen facilities to provide healthy and nutritive vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.The hostel has a large dining hall to accommodate more than 200 students at a time.A clinic with call doctor facility for 24 hours to takecare of the health requirements of the hostel students, is available.
The college has a library and Information Centre which plays a vital role in achieving the cherished objectives of improving the education standard by stimulating academic interest among the students community. The computerized library with a total area of 1200 sq.m and has a collection of nearly 41,266 books, 9162 titles, 2565 CD-ROM’s, 193 International Journals and also the library subscribes to 21 curriculum related International magazines. It has separate reading and reference sections to serve the under graduate and post graduate students.
Apart from this, it has digital resources facilities for students and staff such as ASME, DEL & IEEE online journals. It is fully automated and all the transactions are Computerized. Books are classified and arranged according to the DDC (Dewey Decimal Classification Scheme).Added to these, the library has OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) facility to enable easy access for the user. It also has a collection of books related to TOEFL, GRE, GATE (All branches), CAT, civil services examinations to help those students to prepare for competitive examinations and placement training.
The multi-cuisine cafeteria of the college is a two-storied building which kindles the taste sense and caters to the hunger needs of Guests, Inmates, Visitors, Staff & Students. It can accommodate 400 members to dine at a time. The cafeteria offers a wide medley of hygienic, nutritious South Indian Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian wholesome edible food. Arrangement has been made for the boys & girls to dine separately.
The college has a fleet of 30 buses to transport students and staff from various parts of the city and its neighborhood areas to the college and back home Transport facility will be arranged to every student. Every student is expected to avail the transport facility to enable him/her to be punctual to come to the college.
Besides the regular scheduled trips, the facility is extended for occasions like after the college hour Special Coaching classes, Placements and Training, Visit to Local Industries, hospitals, NSS Camps, etc.
SAEC involved in the concentration of students health for that our management has approved for the setting up of medical clinic in the college premises DR. GNANAM M.B.B.S M.D is taking in charge of servicing the sick students and staff. Every semester, we conduct special health check-up for the students to check whether they are physically accurate.
