ACADEMICS & FACULTY

The first half of the day is concentrated on lectures and the second half is concentrated on practicals/experiments.
The quality of teaching is average.
Overall experience in college is good.

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

'NIRVANA' & 'STIV' are the main festivals on campus. 'NIRVANA' is celebrated by degree and diploma students but 'STIV' is only celebrated by degree students.
In general, life is full of joy in college.

About Rajaram Shinde College of Engineering, [RSCE] Ratnagiri

Rajaram Shinde College of Engineering has been established under the excellent leadership of Mandar Education Society to cater the technical education need of the 21st century of the backward rural area of the province. A decent infrastructure with modern lab and workshop attracts the students. Wi-Fi facility, library and gymkhana are some facilities offered to the students.It was the need of the forthcoming 21st century that the students should get
not only the conventional education but they must also specialize in some kind of vocational or technical education which will enable them for their own progress
as well as the progress of this so-called backward rural area.

Eligibility for first year admission
The Vacant seats shall be filled in the following order of preference

a) For the student who has given JEE and obtained the scores
Secured minimum 50% marks (Minimum 45% in case of Backward class categories and persons with disability candidate belonging to Maharashtra State only)in the subjects physics, mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical vocational subject added together

b) For the student who has not given JEE and obtained the scores
Secured minimum 50% marks (Minimum 45% in case of Backward class categories and persons with disability candidate belonging to Maharashtra State only)in the subjects physics, mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical vocational subject added together

c) Maharashtra State Candidates passing diploma in engineering/Technology course
Diploma holder should have passed diploma course in engineering/Technology with minimum or 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging only to Maharashtra State)and medium of instructions as English form the AICTE approved diploma institutes affiliated to state board of technical education.

Eligibility for DIRECT SECOND year admission
50% for diploma passed (45% OBC/SC/ST/NT/SBC)

The Institution provides facilities for hostel accommodation for both boys and girls. The hostels are spacious, safe and secured with a cordial environment and surrounded by pleasant landscapes.
