Placements & Internships : I have completed my successfull internship in Aviyana Ventures Pvt. Lmt. for 2 months. I have achieved my targets and got stipend of Rs. 12,000. There are many companies who have their campus in our college. Namely Bajaj Finance, Kotak Mahindra, Metro Shoes, Shared Technology, Birla Insurance, Eureka Forbes, Shipping Corporation of India. Average Salary offered is 3 Lac (per year). Highest salary offered is 6 lac (per year). 95% of the batch is get placed. Every year college arranges for allumni meet, so we get chance to interact with our seniors and their seniors too.

Entrance Exams & Admissions :  The eligibility criteria in Oriental Institute Of Management is student must have minimum 50% marks in graduation. Student must fill online registration form (with exact details) which is available on government website (http://www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/mba2016). Fill the data in the form. After this process there is offline verification process. We have to show all our documents to the AICTE approved verification centre. After few days you will be allocated one of colleges according to your marks, preference and entrance exam Score. There are total 4 rounds. 3 rounds are online while 4th is offline. After each online round we have to fill our preffered colleges. In 4th round we have to visit AICTE approved centre and do the procedure manually. For MBA/MMS admission we have to crack entrance exam. There are various entrance exams for MBA/MMS. i.e, MAH/MBA CET, CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA. I choose MAH/MBA CET and got 62 percentile. Typical minimum cuttoffs for MBA/MMS is 60 percentile.  

Fees & Scholarships : Our college course fee structure is 1.6 lac per year (3.2 lac for 2 years). Scholarships provided in our college is Freeship, Minority Scholarship, Rajarshi Shahu Schoralship. 100% students gets Scholarship those who applied (Should be applicable for the scholarship). If financial conditions of the students are not good then yes, loan is needed. Loans are easily available in State Bank of India, Axis Bank, Maharashtra Bank, Oriental Bank.

Academics & Faculty : Basically college starts from 9 a.m. We have lunch break at 12 p.m. College ends at 5 p.m. We have weekly off on Friday. We have to submit live project in 1st year (Semester I). Then Internship report in Semester II. We have total 4 semesters (Semester I & II in 1st year, Semester III & IV in 2nd year). In 1st semester we have all common subjects, in 2nd semester we have 4 common and 4 specialization subjects, in 3rd semester we have 6 specialization and 2 common subjects and in 4th semester we have all specialization subjects. In 1st year we have only college papers. But in 2nd year we have university papers (As per specialization). Quality and method of teaching is excellent. It is very good experience in the college.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There is no hostel facilty available Oriental Institute Of Management. Their are lots of PGs / other courses outside the college but their cost is around 2 lac per month which is so expensive. Quality of food available in our college is too good. It costs Rs. 60 per meal. There are 6 lecture halls with an aggregate area of 429 sq. meters. These can accommodate Halls are about 350 students designed Lecture ergonomically keeping in mind the aesthetics as well as the functionality aspect. Lecture halls are provided with air conditioning, permanent ceiling mounted LCD projectors and other audio visual aids to make learning an interactive experience. There are Wifi's available in every classroom and the speed is excellent.

Clubs & Associations : There is a student society named as BMA in Oriental Institute Of Management. There are various departments for various activities such as Cultural Department, Placement cell and Events department College is associated with social firms such as Green Global India, Fortis group and Lions club. There are various festivals in our college. We have Nova as a college fest, Sports Mania as sports activity and Joy of Giving as CSR event. Life in the college is just awesome.
