Here unions are formed headed by SUN(Student Union of NERIST). All states have their respective union. Every state celebrates their festival and sports meet and cultural fest are held annually.
College Infrastructure6 hostel for boys and 1 for girls. 1 pg hotel each for boys and girls, students can also stay outside the campus. Food is cheap and the good quality. Classroom, labs, library labs are in good condition.

For ST stipend cum scholarship are provided. We need to apply for it at the Academic Branch. Placement: The most popular hiring time to time is done by OIL (Oil India Limited). Apart from that, some small companies from IT sector do visit for campusing. The most popular Candidates who got placed at OIL is said to get around INR 90,000 for first couple years. Alumni network: There is good connectivity among the alumni network with the institute. They do visit or get invited on occasions such as silver jubilee.
Fees and ScholarshipFee structure is very affordable as compared to other major institute. During new admission a student would have to pay about INR 25000 for first 6 months for the next 6 months they would have to pay around INR 12000. Scholarship: There are various types of scholarship that are provided. It is provided to students who obtain good grades (above 8 GPA). The college organizes industrial training or field training for a period of 30 days during summer vacation in the pre final year. Alumni often visit the campus grounds and have interactions with the students. The college also organizes regular workshops for B.Tech pre-final and final year students. The basic objective of these workshops is to provide sufficient exposure to the students in the areas related to recruitment, selection and personality development, to facilitate their entry into leading and highly professional organizations.
