National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management Infrastructure: Library, Hostel, Gym, Auditorium, Cafeteria & Other Facilities

The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Government of India founded MANAGE as an autonomous Institute in Hyderabad in 1987 as the National Centre for Management of Agricultural Extension. In 1992, it was upgraded to the status of a National Institute and was renamed as National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management in recognition of its prominence and expansion of activities across the country. MANAGE campus is aesthetically landscaped and spread over an area of 17 hectares.

MANAGE, Hyderabad Campus Highlights

The following are the campus highlights of MANAGE Hyderabad:

• The Literary Club of MANAGE, "Pratibimb," hosted a Literary Carnival, "Lit 'o' Mélange," to recognise and nurture excellent literary talent as well as academic writers and speakers among MANAGEites. 
• "Krishi Chanakya- the B-Fest to Revolutionise Agribusiness" was held at MANAGE on September 27-28, 2015, with youthful zeal. 

MANAGE, Hyderabad Campus Facilities

MANAGE Hyderabad provides all basic and advanced facilities that meet the needs of the students. Some of these are mentioned below.

Classrooms : To establish a comfortable learning atmosphere, the air-conditioned classrooms and conference halls are outfitted with the newest AV equipment.

Hostels: There are 168 rooms in the hostel, 22 of which are air-conditioned. The hostel has made accommodations for sanitary and international cuisine. All of the rooms are interconnected through the intercom. In addition, faculty and staff have access to a few residential units on campus.

Library: MANAGE has a library with a valuable collection of national and international reputed books and journals in the fields of agriculture, management, and other key subjects, as well as a large database collection on agriculture and related areas.

Labs: MANAGE has its own computer lab, which is well-equipped with systems for PG students, as well as a local area network that covers the entire campus and wi-fi.

Sports Complex: Adequate relaxation facilities are offered to students after the intensive course inputs. Tennis and badminton courts, a swimming pool, a squash court, table tennis, snooker, carom, chess, and a gymnasium are among the amenities.

Health Centre: For resident employees and visiting participants, the health care centre is well equipped with out-of-door patient treatment facilities. Students in the PGDM(ABM) programme can also visit the Health Centre for minor illnesses.
