NDA Pune Infrastructure Details

NDA Pune infrastructure is spread over a massive area of 7015 acres. The college specialised for training in the Armed Indian Forces has all the necessary amenities required to shape tomorrow's army officers, navy and air force officers. In addition to accommodation, library and other basic facilities, the National Defence Academy Pune infrastructure also includes several other facilities. Hostel: NDA Pune hostel facilities are mandatory for students training there. The hostels are on campus and have single-occupancy rooms.

Library: NDA Pune has a central library with various books and other reference materials. Known as the Vyas library, it has a collection of over 85,000 books, 97,000 e-books and a subscription to 6000 e-journals through the National Library and Information Services for Scholar Content. The NDA Pune library additionally has subscriptions to 12 different newspapers and 49 different journals and magazines.

Sports Facilities: Sport is a crucial component for the training cadets of the institution. The students often participate in tournaments and events, intra-academy and civil competitions. The NDA Pune infrastructure includes a badminton court, basketball court, football and cricket ground, squash court, tennis court, polo grounds and an Olympic size swimming pool. Although not mandatory, cadets are encouraged to participate in sports every season and are awarded Merit Cards for excelling. 

IT Infrastructure: The NDA Pune infrastructure includes impressive IT infrastructure. The computer lab is air-conditioned and equipped with the latest configurations, software technologies and fast internet connectivity for smooth functioning. The computer course is a part of the college curriculum with insight into Network Centric Warfare (NCW). Each cadet's cabin has optimal capacity Wifi connectivity on the campus.

Cafeteria: The NDA Pune infrastructure includes a cafeteria which serves as a hub for the cadets to sit with friends and have fun. It has a wide range of food varieties, accommodating 2100 cadets simultaneously. The cafeteria's design is unique, made into a triangular island with the convergence of roads.

Laboratories: NDA Pune has different departmental laboratories. The labs are equipped with the modern amenities and instruments for the research and experiment conducted for educational purposes. The lab facilities include:

Auditorium: The NDA Pune campus has a vast double-storeyed auditorium with a seating capacity of 1700 people. Several events, debates, competitions, lectures, quizzes, musical nights and the Convocation ceremony are organised in the auditorium. In addition, Hindi and English movies are also screened once a week in the hall.
