Facilities at NEC

Central Library

NEC Library System consists of a Central Library and 6 departmental libraries which collectively supports the teaching, research and extension programmes of the Institute. All students, faculty members and employees of the institute are entitled to make use of the Library facilities on taking Library membership. The Central Library has a huge collection of books 43,680 on engineering, science, humanities and Management.

NEC Central Library is the institutional member of AICTE – INDEST consortium. We may access all IEL and IEEE Journals, Transactions, conference proceedings, standards and Magazines round the clock.24 X 7 X 365

Our Central Library Catalogue is digitized. we have hundreds of On-line Journals along with print Journals and 24 hours internet surfing facility with 4mbps band width from BSNL.

Canteen

A Well Furnished Canteen is available for the students even beyond the working hours.

Bank Facility

A State Bank ATM is available inside College Campus for the students and staff.

Internet Facility

A 4 Mbps high speed internet center is available for students and staff.

Hostel

Institute provides separate Hostel facility for Boys and Girls with Well Furnished Rooms. These hostels accommodate more than 500 students comfortably. The hostels maintain high standards of hygiene, comfort and cleanliness.

Mess facilities are also available to provide the hostlers with nutritious and quality food. Girls Hostel is located inside Campus to ensure comfortable reach to classes.

Transport Facility

NEC offers a convenient transport facility to its students and staff. Separate buses for men and women adequately cover all the significant places and important locations in their routes. Bus facility is available from Guntur, Chilakaluripeta and locally. For staff it is free beyond the working hours.

Sports

NEC has the infrastructure for the indoor and outdoor games. NEC has a well maintained Cricket ground, an Athletic track, Basket ball court, Tennis court, GYM, Volley ball court, Kabaddi court etc. Indoor games like Chess, Caroms, Table Tennis etc. are available.
