On average, 40 out of 50 students get fee reimbursement. The fee structure is feasible for an average earning family. If needed loans are also available. Entrance Exams & Admissions :
Admission into mlr institute of pharmacy for bpharmacy, pharmD courses is based on entrance exam EAMCET Telangana state. Management quota seats will also be available for both the courses. I got admission through EAMCET convener quota. Cutoff differs accordingly with castes. For OBC and OC, the cutoff rank is below 10000 and for SC/ST if differs from 30000-40000.
Placements & Internships :
The students can also do their internships if interested. The student has to search by themselves. The management will encourage. Coming to placement, companies like HGS, Mylan, Hetero etc visit the campus for recruitment for the roles like marketing ,production, quality control etc. The average salary was 2.5-3lakhs per annum.
Academics & Faculty :
College starts at 9:30. 4 periods of 50 mins each in the morning or afternoon will be taken for practicals and 3periods will be given for classes. Practicals are conducted daily for each subject. For projects, 2-4hrs per week will be given to students. The teaching department is good and experienced. Their approach towards students is good.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facility is also available. Hostel fees is around 90000 per year for each student. Hostel maintenance is very good. Study timing in hostel are well managed. Proper care is taken in case of food. In college cantene, the food is good. It's cost effective. Per meal it costs 40rupees. Classrooms are well furnished. Labs are well equipped. Library consists of standard books and all required books for reference and students can take them home for 10days after which fine will be posed.
Clubs & Associations :
Club 64 manages all the events being conducted. Apart from this TEDx and mun committee also take care of events which develop the personality of the student. Main festivals on campus include traditional day, Freshers day, technical and cultural fest for 2days, teachers day, Republic Day, farewell party, DJ night, sports night, convocation day.
