LIBRARY

The central library has a floor area of 400 Sq.Mtr. It has 1600 titles and 7500 volumes. The college is subscribes to 50 National and 35 International journals. e-journals are also available. The college is a member of SONET, an A.P. Government sponsored "Society for Networking for Excellence in Technical Education". In an attempt to overcome the serious shortage of well-qualified and experienced teachers in certain engineering disciplines, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has set up this society. Under the aegis of this society, it is proposed to telecast, in the ku band, lectures delivered by eminent teachers on certain subjects, for the benefit of students of all the member colleges.

LABS

The courseware is in collaboration with Globarena Technologies and K-VAN solutions private limited. Professional training in communication skills, softskills, group discussions and interview skills are the other proficiencies targeted. The campus recruitment drives at the end of the engineering course are a touchstone for the training received.

HOSTEL

The MIETW provides a home away from home in terms of its hostel accommodation for girls. The hostel administration is run by a Warden nominated by the college management and all major policy decisions are taken by the Hostel Committee constituted by the Governing Body of MIETW. The committee includes representatives from the hostel inmates also. The hostel committee ensures well balanced and healthy meals which are prepared in hygienic conditions and are both nutritious and delicious. The girls hostel has Shuttle courts, Table tennis and a shop to facilitate the students. The hostel blocks also have STD facility. The hostel is equipped with all necessary facilities such as Common room, medical room, audio-visual room, Wi-fi connectivity and mess facility.

DINING & HEALTH CARE

The hostel is annexed with a kitchen, to provide food at protected and hygienic environment along with dining halls, which can accommodate more than 1000 students at a time. The hostel kitchen has facilities for steam cooking with gas stoves. On call Doctor facility for 24 Hours to take care of the health requirements of the hostel students, is also made available. A separate gymnasium for women is also annexed with the Girls Hostel.

CAFETERIA

MIET is equipped with a modern canteen that is operated by the management. The canteen adheres to the highest degrees of quality, hygiene and provide the students with tasty food at affordable rates. The serene atmosphere in the canteen has transformed it to one of the most popular places for the students. It provides the students and the faculty with nutritious and hygienic vegetarian food. Snacks and soft drinks are also available. Modern cooking equipments that include steam boilers for rice and vegetables have been installed with the aim of providing wholesome food.
