As per the NIRF report, more than 135 students have got placements in companies like Aachi, Canon, HCL, Bajaj Finserv, ICICI Bank and L&T Finance in the 2019-2020 batch placements of Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU). Madurai Kamaraj University Placement Cell

Madurai Kamaraj University Placement Cell was created in 2007 to initiate placement activities and motivate interested companies to organise the recruitment of campus placements. Thus, On 19 December 2014, the UGC made it mandatory for all universities to set up a separate placement cell using the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) services to strengthen industry-academic linkages and mentorship to the student community. Based on the recommendations of UGC, a separate Placement Cell with necessary infrastructure was created in 2014. The university has a placement team responsible for the success of the campus placement drive. They do all the work of bringing companies to the campus for recruitment. The team works diligently with full coordination of the Computer Centre students and makes percent effort for placement preparation activities.
