Maa Sarada Nursing School, Durgapur is also known as Durgapur School of Nursing, was established in the year 2017.  Durgapur School of Nursing is a part of Sanaka Educational Trust which was founded in the year 2006 by Hon’ble President Shri Tapan Kumar Pobi. This Trust has institutes from kindergarten to Postdoctoral level. The institutes spread over 34-acre land in the heart of the industrial city Durgapur.

Durgapur School of Nursing offers a Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery course. Through this course,  Durgapur School of Nursing ensures the development and personality and professional efficiency of all students. Considering the latest professional and technological developments in nursing, this course is updated regularly. After 3 months of the course at Durgapur School of Nursing, candidates take part in an impressive ceremony called Capping Ceremony. Students need to appear for an exam to succeed in this ceremony. Successful nurses are given the Nursing Cap which is the symbol of Nursing Service.
