Below are facilities offered to the students at LGI.

Library

• The library is open 10 hours a day during semesters
• Modern and comfortable surroundings which are ideal for study
• Reading spaces are available for both group work and quiet study
• The college has established a virtual library facility on the premises of the main library
• Any student/ faculty member who has joined the College can become a member of the Library
• The library holds a very rich collection of relevant periodicals and magazines
• Ready help and guidance is provided to all searching for any book or other reference material within the library
• Students can make an easy search of a particular title or book in the library with the help of state-of-the-art library software
• For the convenience of staff and students, the libraries have Xerox machines to offer Xerox facility
• The database of the virtual-Library is a repository of approximately 4,50,000 e-Books on management, pharmaceutical sciences, computer sciences, information technology and electronics

Canteen

• The college canteen is a spacious food joint newly constructed for the purpose of serving wholesome, nutritious food
• It is situated near the Main Building and remains open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on all working days
• A wide variety of Indian snacks and dishes are available
• During lunch, meals are available at very reasonable prices
• A Cafeteria is also facilitated at the New Assam Type Building
• The canteen besides being hygienic also provides swift service
• It is frequented perhaps more by the hostellers looking for a change from hostel grub than the occasional visitor
• The ever-busy canteen bustling with inquisitive minds is a recreational -cum-hangout place for the students
