To enhance knowledge and to instill thirst for learning among students, which will enable them to develop an integrated personality and motivate them for valuable contribution to the society in future.The JNEC Library has sitting capacity of 600 Students and it is always full of students during preparatory period and examinations. During this period library is open for 24 hours Book Bank Needy and SC/ST/OBC students are provided with a set of books as per the syllabus, totally free of cost.

• Established in the year 1983 and is spread over an area of 1384.27 Sqm
• Total books on Accession are 61140 while 16801 are titles.
• The book bank system introduced for all the students in 1984 and has 14853 books.
• SC/ST/OBC students get free books from book bank. 24 Hrs Reading room facility. Internet Facility DELNET Online journals.
• Biometric Books Transaction.
• Subscribed 102 Journals and Magzines.
• (DELNET) Facilities to search through abstracts and full text of technical papers and articles.
• DELNET online journals are 1150.
• The photocopying facilities are available for staff and students.
• The library is open for 24 hours during preparatory period and examinations including Sundays and Holidays.
• The library is automated through Oracle 8i and VB 6 (Qualsoft System pvt Ltd)based software with High Technology Biometric Identifiation.
• The library environment is conducive to acquire knowledge and information through automation technical enhancement.

Computing Facilities-

The Aim of establishing central computing infrastructure is to provide computing and internet facilities to the whole campus and to support students in their project work. The data maintenance, CD Preparing instructional material and desk top publishing are also provided.The Computer Center is fully air-conditioned with Four 2.0 Ton Split AC's. The lab has a network of 72 IBM and Dell Computers, three IBM servers and two Dell Servers with latest configuration. Internet connection is provided through dedicated wireless leased link having speed of 2 MBPS. The lab has fully loaded generator backup facility to avoid failure duringThe computer nodes and servers are operating in a network configuration as a part of total campus network.
