Savitribai phule womens engineering college was established on 2008, with the collective efforts of experts having long and outstanding academic experience in the field of professional education with the mission ‘Social transformation through dynamic education.It is approved by AICTE, Delhi. Government of Maharashtra and Affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.

Savitribai Phule womens engineering college is the first womens engineering college in marathwada region .Their Honorable founder Shri.Eknath K.Jadhav has dedicated this institute to empower women engineers of the country to achieve quality education imbibed with professional and ethical values.

At SPWEC, they provide high-end undergraduate degree program in two branches i.e. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science and post graduate program in Electronic Engineering . They are in the pursuit of global standards of excellence in all their endeavors and they aim at creating all rounded personality in our students –professionally and socially. They have excellent faculty and state of the art infrastructural facilities and laboratories.

Outstation students are accommodated in the hostels. Excellent infrastructure by way of Transport, Wi-Fi Internet facilities, Sports facilities and Cafeteria are available in the College campus. One faculty member is put in charge of about twenty students. This proctor is virtually a guardian / mentor / tutor / guru for students in the campus.
