ISDC is a constituent college of the University of Allahabad established in 1970. Iswar Saran Degree College is a premier undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral college under the aegis of Harijan Sewak Sangh. Currently, ISDC offers courses in Science and Arts. Admissions to these courses are based on the CUET-UG, CUET-PG, PGAT and UGC-NET exam.

Iswar Saran Degree College is a UGC-recognized public college with a NAAC B+ accreditation. ISDC has various co-curricular activities, including NSS and NCC. Iswar Saran Degree College organised and participated in the Job Mela in 2020. The placement drive recorded 99 placements, and various companies like ICICI, Teleperformance, Vinuthna Fertilizer, Konnect Peers etc. participated in the campaign.

ISDC Admission Dates 2024

ISDC admissions are conducted per the rules at Allahabad University. Admissions are conducted based on the CUET-UG and CUET-PG exams. Important dates related to admission are tabulated below.

ISDC Departments

ISDC has five significant faculties, Science, Arts, Law, Commerce and Vocational courses. There are 28 departments under these faculties. The departments are well-equipped to conduct all academic activities at the college.

ISDC Admission

ISDC admissions are ongoing for the PG courses. ISDC offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in Science, Humanities and Commerce. Admissions are based on CUET-UG, CUET-PG, PGAT, and UGC-NET examinations. Admissions are made online, and students are notified about the different steps through the official website.

ISDC Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for admission to Iswar Saran Degree College, the students must meet the eligibility criteria laid down by the college. ISDC follows the same guidelines for admission as Allahabad Univerity.

BA/BBA/BSc Eligibility Criteria

• The students must have passed the PUC/10+2 examination with 50% marks in relevant subjects from a recognised board.
• The students must appear for the CUET-UG exams.

MA/MSc Eligibility Criteria

• The students must have passed Graduation with 50% marks in relevant subjects from a recognised board/university.
• The students must appear for the CUET-PG/PGAT examination.

PhD Eligibility Criteria

• The students must have passed post-graduation in relevant subjects from a recognised board/university.
• The students must appear for the UGC-NET examination.

ISDC Placements

ISDA has a Training and Placement cell that was established in 2005. The Training and Placement cell ensures students are equipped with employability skills and opportunities.

The cell organises career guidance workshops in collaboration with big companies IIBM, Career Launcher, IILM, Mangalain Institute of Management, and Franklin India Limited. In 2020, a mega Job Mela was conducted in collaboration with MEDHA. 

• More than 400 students participated from all affiliated colleges from Allahabad University.
• 215 students were shortlisted, and 99 students were finally selected.
